Add Genie to yourself. Do each step below where you can, and stop to tell me whenever I need to act. If you can't change your own settings, walk me through them one at a time. I will complete sign-in and approvals in Genie or the provider’s own UI. Never ask me to paste passwords, API tokens, or website credentials into this chat. Wait for me at each user action. Site: https://modelcontextprotocol.io Connection method: Remote MCP with OAuth and automatic registration, or the local bridge app What Genie stores: An OAuth grant from your Genie account to that assistant. No API key. How it works: Most assistants that support MCP add Genie by its URL, `https://genie.paymanai.com/mcp`. They discover Genie’s OAuth server, register themselves automatically and send you to Genie to sign in. Nothing to copy: no token, no client ID, no secret. An assistant that only launches local MCP servers uses Genie’s bridge app instead: command `npx`, args `-y @paymanai/genie-mcp-stdio`. Before starting: 1. A Genie account. [Create one](https://genie.paymanai.com/signin) if you have not. 2. An assistant that supports MCP servers. Setup steps: 1. Open your assistant’s settings for connectors or MCP servers. 2. Add a server named **Genie** with the URL `https://genie.paymanai.com/mcp`. Transport, if asked: **HTTP / Streamable HTTP**. Authentication: **OAuth**, with automatic registration. Leave client ID, client secret and headers empty. 3. If it only runs local servers, add command `npx` with args `-y @paymanai/genie-mcp-stdio` instead, then run `npx -y @paymanai/genie-mcp-stdio login` in a terminal. 4. Sign in to Genie when it opens, review the callback website and choose **Connect to Genie**. 5. Turn Genie on in a chat and ask: “In one sentence, what can you help me with?” Exact settings: - Name: Genie - Server URL: https://genie.paymanai.com/mcp - Transport, if shown: HTTP / Streamable HTTP - Authentication: OAuth, with automatic registration - Client ID, client secret and headers: Leave empty. - Local-only assistants: command npx, args -y @paymanai/genie-mcp-stdio After connecting: Genie requires sign-in before any tool is available. What the assistant may spend is set in your Genie account under **Policies**, not in the assistant. To disconnect: Remove the server in your assistant, or disconnect it under **Account → Agents** in Genie.
