How it works:
Muse reads [the Muse HTTP guide](https://genie.paymanai.com/developers/http-agent-muse.md) and follows Genie's advertised endpoints. Its installation must make HTTP calls and rotate tokens inside secure vault code; if it cannot, pairing is unavailable there.
A supported Muse installation sends the sign-in link and matching request details in your existing conversation. You approve access in Genie.

Before starting:
1. A Genie account. [Create one](https://genie.paymanai.com/signin) if you have not.
2. A Muse conversation on a device you control. HTTP calls and a secure credential vault must be available to that installation.

Setup steps:
1. Muse checks whether it can call the advertised Genie endpoints and store rotating credentials securely. If it cannot, it reports that this connection is unavailable.
2. If supported, Muse identifies itself and replies with a Genie sign-in link, installation ID, matching code, OAuth scopes, and expiry in your trusted conversation.
3. Open the link and sign in to Genie, or create and verify your account.
4. In **Agents → Requests**, compare the name, installation ID, code, scopes, and expiry with Muse’s message. Choose connection access and select **Approve** only for the request you started.

After connecting:
Ask Muse a balance question to verify the connection. Genie may still ask you to connect a financial provider in your browser.
A dynamically registered Muse name is self-asserted. It does not prove Meta is the provider.

To disconnect: Ask Muse to disconnect Genie, or choose **Disconnect** for the assistant under **Account → Agents** in Genie.
