How it connects

How Genie connects to Durango Bank & Trust

Durango Bank & Trust connects with the username and password of your Durango online banking. You enter them once in Genie; Genie verifies them with the bank and stores them sealed. When your assistant pays or transfers, Genie signs in and carries out the operation through the bank’s own services.

There is no developer token to create. If you do not bank with Durango yet, you can open an account at durangobt.com/signup.

Before you start

What to have ready

  • A Genie account. Create one if you have not.
  • Your Durango Bank & Trust online banking username and password.

Step by step

Connect Durango Bank & Trust to Genie

  1. Sign in to Genie, open Account → Connections Vault and choose Add a connection.

  2. Choose Durango BT. Its card reads Password sign-in · ready to connect.

  3. Enter your Durango online banking username and password and choose Save. Genie verifies them with the bank.

  4. The connection shows Connected as your name and the access Genie holds.

  5. Set your rules under Account → Policies: per-payment, daily and monthly limits, and approved payees.

Once connected

What happens next

Payments, transfers between your accounts, balances and history, within the rules you set. When an operation needs a second step, Genie asks you in your Genie account, never in the assistant’s chat.

If you change your Durango password, the row shows Reconnect; sign in again from the vault.

To disconnect: Open the connection’s panel and choose Disconnect. Genie deletes the sealed credentials.
