How it works:
Durango Bank & Trust is a test bank run by Payman, so you can try every bank operation Genie supports, payments, transfers, balances and history, without a real account or real money. It connects with the username and password of a Durango online banking login. You enter them once in Genie; Genie verifies them with the bank and stores them sealed. When your assistant pays or transfers, Genie signs in and carries out the operation through the bank’s own services, exactly as it would at a real bank.
There is no developer token to create. Open a test account at [durangobt.com/signup](https://www.durangobt.com/signup).

Before starting:
1. A Genie account. [Create one](https://genie.paymanai.com/signin) if you have not.
2. A Durango test account: its online banking username and password.

Setup steps:
1. Sign in to Genie, open **Accounts** and choose **Add account**.
2. Next to **Test bank**, choose **Try it**.
3. Enter your Durango online banking username and password and choose **Save**. Genie verifies them with the bank.
4. The connection shows *Connected as* your name and the access Genie holds.
5. Set your rules under **Account → Policies**: per-payment, daily and monthly limits, and approved payees.

After connecting:
Payments, transfers between your accounts, balances and history, within the rules you set. When an operation needs a second step, Genie asks you in your Genie account, never in the assistant’s chat.
If you change your Durango password, the card shows **Needs sign-in**; open it and choose **Sign in again**.

To disconnect: Open the account’s panel and choose **Remove account**. Genie deletes the sealed credentials.
