Connect Coinbase.

Help me connect Coinbase to Genie. Walk me through the setup below one step at a time, and configure my assistant where you can.

I will complete sign-in and approvals in Genie or the provider’s own UI. Never ask me to paste passwords, API tokens, or website credentials into this chat. Wait for me at each user action.

Connection method: Access token: a CDP API key, or an OAuth access token
What Genie stores: One Coinbase API key, stored sealed. What it may do was fixed when Coinbase issued it.

How it works:
Coinbase has no sign-in page Genie can drive, so you create an API key at Coinbase and paste it into Genie once. Genie proves the key against your Coinbase profile, stores it in the credential vault and uses it for every call. What the key may do, view balances, trade or send funds, was chosen when Coinbase issued it, and Coinbase enforces that itself.
One key covers everything; there is no separate spending token. Every send still needs your Coinbase second factor, which Genie relays to you.

Before starting:
1. A Genie account. [Create one](https://genie.paymanai.com/signin) if you have not.
2. A Coinbase account with two-step verification turned on.
3. Access to the [Coinbase Developer Platform](https://portal.cdp.coinbase.com), which takes your Coinbase sign-in.

Setup steps:
1. Sign in to the Coinbase Developer Platform at `portal.cdp.coinbase.com`.
2. Open **API keys → Secret API keys** and choose **Create API key**.
3. Name the key, for example *Genie*, and choose its permissions: **View** for balances and transactions, **Trade** if Genie should buy or sell crypto for you, and **Transfer** only if Genie should send funds. Leave the IP allowlist empty.
4. Open **Advanced Settings** and set **Signature algorithm** to **ECDSA**. The default, Ed25519, does not work with Coinbase accounts.
5. Choose **Create API key**, then **Download API key**. The file holds the key’s name (`organizations/…/apiKeys/…`) and a `privateKey`; Coinbase shows the private key once.
6. Sign in to Genie, open **Accounts** and choose **Add account**. Next to **Coinbase**, choose **Connect**.
7. Paste the whole JSON into the token field and choose **Save**. Genie verifies it with Coinbase and shows *Connected as* your Coinbase name.

After connecting:
Genie can read balances and transactions, send USDC and other crypto to a wallet address or another Coinbase user, and withdraw by ACH only to a bank account already linked at Coinbase.
Genie can place market buys and sells in USD or USDC when the key has Trade and your crypto limits allow it.
Onchain sends cannot be recalled. Coinbase asks for your second factor on every send; Genie passes that prompt to you.

To disconnect: Open the Coinbase panel and choose **Remove account**. To be certain, also delete the key at `portal.cdp.coinbase.com`; a deleted key stops working at once.
