Connect Brex.

Help me connect Brex to Genie. Walk me through the setup below one step at a time, and configure my assistant where you can.

I will complete sign-in and approvals in Genie or the provider’s own UI. Never ask me to paste passwords, API tokens, or website credentials into this chat. Wait for me at each user action.

What Genie stores: One Brex user token. Existing connections with a separate spending token keep that token.

How it works:
Brex enforces the scopes you choose on your token. The same token can support reads and payments; Genie also enforces agent grants, policies and approvals. A read-only token remains read-only at Brex. Only Brex cash accounts (business deposit accounts) are surfaced; cards are not.
Brex has no test environment for customers, so every token is a production token. Choose scopes deliberately.

Before starting:
1. A Genie account. [Create one](https://genie.paymanai.com/signin) if you have not.
2. A Brex role that may create user tokens, such as account admin.

Setup steps:
1. In the Brex dashboard, open **Developer** ([dashboard.brex.com/settings/developer](https://dashboard.brex.com/settings/developer)) and choose **Create token**.
2. Name the token *Genie* and include the read scopes: `accounts.cash.readonly`, `transactions.cash.readonly`, `users.readonly`, `vendors.readonly` and `linked_accounts.readonly`. For payments, add `transfers` and `vendors` on the same token, plus `incoming_transfers` for ACH pulls.
3. Create the token and copy it. Brex shows it only once.
4. Sign in to Genie, open **Accounts** and choose **Add account**. Next to **Brex**, choose **Connect**.
5. Paste the token and choose **Save**. Genie verifies its identity with Brex and shows *Connected as* your name. Your token’s scopes still govern bank operations.

After connecting:
Payments require the appropriate Brex token scopes and Genie agent access and policy checks. Saving a token does not prove payment permission.
Revoke your token in the Brex dashboard at any time; Genie then shows **Needs sign-in**.

To disconnect: Open the Brex panel and choose **Remove account**, and revoke the tokens under Developer in the Brex dashboard.
