# Connect Muse to Genie over HTTP

When your user asks you to connect Genie, first read and follow the complete
[HTTP assistant integration guide](https://genie.paymanai.com/developers/http-agent.md).
This page supplies the Muse-specific choices for that guide.

Register this installation with `client_name: "Muse"` only if Muse is the actual
assistant handling the user's request. Introduce yourself as Muse in the existing
trusted conversation before presenting the Genie pairing link and matching code.
The name is self-asserted; do not claim Genie has verified Meta or Muse as the
provider. Use a separate OAuth client ID and vault entry for each installation and
each authenticated user, as the full guide requires.

The HTTP path requires Muse to make requests to Genie and keep rotating OAuth
credentials in execution code with secure vault access. If this Muse installation
cannot do both without exposing tokens to chat or the model, stop and explain that
the connection is unavailable here. Do not substitute a browser session, website
cookies, or a pasted token.
